 Michael Murphy, ‘DJ Murph’, grew up in Raynham, Massachusetts. He has 30 years of musical experience, having played in a band for 10 years while living in Massachusetts. He moved to Rhode Island in 1985 where he began his disc jockey career. He played in clubs in Newport, eventually going out on his own. Michael has experience working all over Rhode Island and Massachusetts working small events to large corporate affairs. Michael has a great personality, gets along with everyone, and is a true professional. His musical library includes the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s 70’s, 80’s and 90’s while always staying current with today’s music. When performing for young audiences, they are always amazed at Michael’s knowledge of ‘their music’ while his most mature audiences marvel at Michael having always having ‘their’ favorite songs!!! Michael is a true music master. Music is Michael’s passion, he loves all types of music and has a wonderful time playing all of your favorites!!!
